W ciągu tygodnia ŁKS Commercecon Łódź rozegrał trzy mecze – dwa w Pucharze CEV i jeden ligowy. We wszystkich trzech łodzianki triumfowały, a wisienką na torcie była środowa wygrana 3:0 w meczu rewanżowym CEV Cup z Hidramar Gran Canaria. Wiewióry przypieczętowały nim awans do kolejnej rundy, gdzie czeka już Igor Gorgonzola Novara – zespół dobrze znany Alessandro Chiappiniemu, trenerowi ŁKS Commercecon Łódź.
– Jeśli chcemy rozpatrywać wynik meczu rewanżowego, to tak – mecz wydaje się łatwy, ale chcę powiedzieć, że zespół był super skoncentrowany od początku do końca – ocenił włoski szkoleniowiec. – O to prosiłem, bo graliśmy z przeciwnikiem z kilkoma niebezpiecznymi zawodniczkami, który przyjechał tutaj z ostatnią nadzieją. Dlatego musieliśmy być dobrze przygotowani do walki, bo jeśli dalibyśmy im szansę uwierzyć, to mógłby to być inny mecz. Jestem dumny i usatysfakcjonowany sposobem, w jaki dziewczyny podeszły do meczu. Do końca grały z takim samym zaangażowaniem. To było naprawdę ważne i jestem bardzo szczęśliwy z wyniku, ale jestem też bardzo szczęśliwy z ducha drużyny, jaki widziałem na boisku.
Najwięcej punktów dla łodzianek zdobyła Anastasiia Hryshchuk (18) – 14 z ataku, 2 z zagrywki i 2 blokiem. Atakowała ze skutecznością 50%. Po meczu została wyróżniona tytułem MVP. 11 “oczek” dołożyła Klaudia Alagierska, a 7 Sonia Stefanik.
W 1/8 CEV Cup ŁKS Commercecon Łódź zmierzy się z Igorem Gorgonzola Novara. Zespół ze słonecznej Italii jest dobrze znany Alessandro Chiappiniemu.
– Novara to niewielka część mojego sportowego życia, ponieważ spędziłem tam dwa lata – dwa bardzo ważne lata, więc znam tam wszystkich i gra przeciwko temu klubowi to dla mnie przyjemność. Wiemy, że przeciwnik jest bardzo mocny, ale po naszej stronie jest fakt, że możemy zagrać na luzie. Możemy po prostu naciskać z naszej strony i dać z siebie wszystko. Wynik jest zawsze otwarty – podsumował szkoleniowiec.
During the week, ŁKS Commercecon Łódź played three matches – two in the CEV Cup and one league match. – If we want to conisdering the results of today’s game, then yes – the result looks easy, but I want to say that today the team was super focused from the beginning until the end – said coach. – It’s what I asked to them, because we’ve played against the oponent with some dangerous players and they arrived here with the last hope. That’s why we have to be prepared well to fight, because if we give them any Chance to believe it would be different game. I’m proud and satisfied for the girls how they approach to the match. They were played until the end with the same focus. It was really important and I’m very happy about the result, but I’m very happy about the spirit that I saw on the court.

– Novara is a small part of my sport life, because I’ve spent there two years – two very important years, so I know there everybody and for me is a pleasure to play against tchem. We know that the oponent is very strong, but on our side is a fact, that we can play with free mind. We can just push from our side and doing our best.
