ŁKS Commercecon Łódź dwukrotnie pokonał bez straty seta Hidramar Gran Canaria w 1/16 CEV Cup. O ile we własnej hali hiszpański zespół usiłować walczyć, o tyle w rewanżu przewaga Łódzkich Wiewiór była bardzo duża. Po spotkaniu Lana Ščuka, przyjmująca łódzkiej drużyny, przyznała, że cały tydzień wymagał od ŁKS Commercecon dużo sił.
– Na pewno ostatni tydzień był dla nas bardzo intensywny, ponieważ dużo podróżowaliśmy, ale jestem szczęśliwa, że nasz zespół poradził sobie z tym wyzwaniem i zwyciężył – podkreśliła Słowenka. – Udało nam się zrealizować pierwszy cel. Mecz wyjazdowy był wymagający, bo przeciwnik ma też kilka wartościowych zawodniczek – dodała.
Z Hidramar Gran Canaria łodzianki wygrały dwukrotnie bez straty seta i awansowały do 1/8 CEV Cup. W tej rundzie czeka na Wiewióry bardziej wymagający przeciwnik – włoski Igor Gorgonzola Novara. Pierwszy mecz odbędzie się w Łodzi (26 lub 27 listopada), natomiast rewanż zaplanowano na 11 grudnia.
– Mecz z Novarą to dla nas zaszczyt, szansa i wyzwanie – także po to, aby rozwijać się w naszej grze, zyskać większą stabilność i zdobyć więcej doświadczenia – spróbować czegoś nowego i rywalizować o najwyższe cele – przyznała Lana Ščuka. – Uważam, że nie ma rzeczy niemożliwych. Oczywiście jesteśmy tutaj, aby spróbować wygrać.
ŁKS Commercecon Łódź defeated Hidramar Gran Canaria twice without losing a set in the 1/16 CEV Cup. While the Spanish team tried to fight in their own arena, in the return match the advantage of Squirrels was very big. After the match, Lana Ščuka, the outside spiker of ŁKS Commercecon, admitted that the whole week required a lot of strength from her team.
– Definitly last week was very intensive for us, because we was travelling a lot, but I’m happy for our team for manage this difficulty and won – emphasized the Slovenian. – We completed the first goal. Game there was intense. They have also some quality players – she added.
With Hidramar Gran Canaria, the te am from Łódźwon twice without losing a set and advanced to the 1/8 CEV Cup. In this round, Squirrels will face a more demanding opponent – the Italian Igor Gorgonzola Novara. The first match will take place in Łódź (November 26 or 27), while the rematch is scheduled for December 11.
– The game against Novara i san honour, opportunity and a challenge for us – also for grow up in our playing, get more stability and get more experience, to try something new and compete to the top things – admitted Lana Ščuka. – I think that nothing is impossible. We are of course here to try and win.
